Joris kinderverjaardagfeest

Eindelijk hebben we gisteren Joris kinderverjaardagfeest gevierd, heeft even mogen duren, maar in de grote vakantie toen Joris "echt" jarig was waren diverse vriendjes op vakantie. Maar nu waren ze er dus allemaal. We begonnen 's avonds om 7 uur met taart en natuurlijk de kadootjes. Daarna een korte speurtocht door het dorp naar het landje toe waar we een kampvuurtje hadden gemaakt. Wat is er nu leuker dan vuurtje stoken, voor jongens dan hè ;-), tjonge wat hebben ze zich uitgeleefd bij het vuur en ook nog marshmallows gebraden totdat ze gewoon van het stokje afliepen, mmm.......

Finally we celebrated Joris birthday party for the kids, it did take a while but when it really was his birthday last August, a couple of his frieds were on summer vacation. But now they were all there. We started of with cake at about 7 pm and with presents ofcourse. After that we had a little quest through the village towards our patch of land where there was a little camp fire. What is more fun than playing with fire, for boys that is ;-), boy they really had a ball around the fire and with the marshmallows, they heated them till the marshmallows came running from the stick, mmm........

Deze foto ziet er enger uit dan het in werkelijkheid was, Joris heeft er in ieder geval geen brandwonden aan overgehouden.

This picture looks worse than it really was, Joris didn't have any burn wounds at all.

En ze bleven allemaal ook nog eens slapen ook!! Nou ja slapen, het was rond middernacht eindelijk stil en al om zes uur was het hele spul weer wakker en aanwezig!

And they all stayed for the night too!! Well they didn't sleep much though, around midnight it was finally quiet and about 6 'o clock they were already awake and present again.

De meeste van hun moesen na het ontbijt gelijk een voetbalwedstrijd spelen (vandaar die rode shirtjes), tegen een meisjes team en dat wonnen ze, met hun slaperige hoofden, op hun sloffen met 18-nul!!

Most off them had toplay a soccer game after breakfast (hence the red shirts), against an all girl team en they won with ease, even with sleepy heads, the score was 18-zero!!
