Afgelopen zaterdag was het zover; Gemmy mocht diploma schaatsen. Dit hield voor de deelnemers in dat ze eerst een aantal vaardigheden moesten laten zien op een parcours en daarna mochten ze baantjes schaatsen.
Nog even in spanning wachten op de oorkonde en uiteindelijk heel trots dat ze het gehaald had natuurlijk!
Past Saturday was the day Gemmy went for her skate diplom. First the attending kids had to show of their skate skills on a parcours and after that they skated rounds. Just a little tense moment waiting for the certificate and very proud when she got hers!
Om het te vieren hebben we en cake gebakken waarbij Gemmy's bijdrage vooral bestond uit het mixen van het beslag, maar vooral uit het uitlikken van de beslagkom.
To celebrate the occasion we bake a cake in which Gemmy's participation concisted mostly of mixing the dough, but above all licking clean the seizure bowl.
Die met de hulp van Joris en Meike al snel leeg was. / Which was emptied within no time with the help of Joris and Meike.
En het resultaat een beren-cake die heel erg snel opgegeten is!
And the result; a cake in the form of a bear which didn't last long!
